I Found this minidisc recording of my performance at the Borderline, London from October 2006.

Andy Gallagher minidisk Borderline, London

This was a very important show for me as it was my 1st paid show in London, I opened for Tracie Hunter and met her amazing dad Ian Hunter of Mott The Hoople, I also opened for Dom Brown who has gone on to play guitar with Take That and Duran Duran.

Dom and Tracie, I thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to open for you that night because the very next day at Heathrow airport whilst bummed out about flight delays and other little things, I met Graham Brown at a music store whilst buying Minutemen/Mike Watt documentary We Jam the Econo. That meeting led onto Graham and I recording together, playing live together as Overhaul and becoming the rhythm section for Gordon Gano and The Ryan’s UK 2011 tour in which we had an amazing time, played fantastic shows and festivals with Gordon, Billy Ryan and Brendan Ryan and had a fantastic tour manager Hieronymus Melchers.

All this was made possible because one little show and Darren Brown faith in my music.

Guys, I love each and every one. And I don’t think you know just how much you mean to me. I hope we can all meet up soon and have more music fun.
